SUMMARY:Medical and Graduate Student Shared Symposium
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to the inaugural Medical and Graduate Student Shared Symposium\, taking place this summer on Friday\, July 17th from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM in the East Lecture Hall\, Busch Campus.\n\nThis first-of-its-kind event brings together students and faculty across fields to bridge basic science\, clinical medicine\, and public health in one shared space. The day will feature:\n\n\n\nFaculty talks spanning the medical and graduate schools\n\n\nStudent poster presentations and flash talks\n\n\nA “Poolside” Chat: a candid panel featuring clinical\, research\, and public health voices on topics including public perceptions of medicine and science\n\n\n\nWe hope this symposium becomes a meaningful tradition that fosters the kind of cross-disciplinary conversation that doesn’t happen often enough.\n\nFor students: We encourage you to submit an abstract for a poster or flash talk by July 1st.
