DESCRIPTION:12th Interdisciplinary Quantitative Biology BOOT CAMP \nPRACTICAL CRYO-ELECTRON MICROSCOPY \nDate: January 12-16\, 2026 \nLocation: Proteomics Building\, Busch Campus\, Rutgers University \nThe Interdisciplinary Quantitative Biology Boot Camp focusing on Practical Cryo–Electron Microscopy is a hands-on program in which participants learn and perform cryo-EM techniques in small groups under the guidance of a team of experts. \nEvery attendee will operate electron microscopes\, vitrify samples\, and process single-particle data. \nSkills you will learn: \n\nVitrification\nTransmission electron microscopy alignment\nCryo-EM data collection\nSingle-particle data processing\n\nThis boot camp can be taken in partial fulfillment of requirements to earn the Cryo-EM digital badge (credentials.rutgers.edu). \nRegistration:\nThis opportunity is open to researchers interested in using cryo-electron microscopy in their future work. Typical applications include pharmaceutical and biotechnology R&D or QA/QC. \nSpace is limited.
