“Proteolytic Regulation of Auto-Lysosomal Activity as an intervention against protein aggregation? A potential grant application”
Travis Lear, PhD
Assistant Professor, Dept of Pharmacology, Physiology, and Neuroscience, Rutgers Brain Health Institute
Dr. Lear will discuss his aims page and intended methodology for a potential grant application investigating auto-lysosomal regulation and neurodegeneration. He is interested in feedback and suggestions to better address the scientific question and incorporate the most appropriate models for Alzheimer’s Disease. Dr. Lear’s research focuses on proteostasis in aging and neurodegeneration, and the intersection of the ubiquitin proteasome system and the auto-lysosome system.
This is not a formal talk, and discussion and critique are very much welcome!
