Maia Choi Named Vice-Chair of BHI Postdoctoral Alliance Working Group (PAWG)

Maia Choi, M.S., a fifth-year graduate student in the Behavioral Systems and Neuroscience Program in the Department of Psychology, has been named Vice-Chair of BHI’s Postdoctoral Alliance Working Group (PAWG). Maia is a member of Dr. Danielle Dick’s Translational Psychiatric Genetics Lab, where her research focuses on the genetic influences on externalizing and substance use behaviors using deeply phenotyped, large-scale longitudinal datasets. She is also passionate about translating basic research findings into genetically informed prevention and intervention strategies. We are excited to welcome Maia to this leadership role and look forward to her contributions to the BHI trainee community.
