The Newark New Jersey Regional Brain Bee, sponsored by the BHI, is a Q&A competition, similar to a spelling bee, that tests high school students’ neuroscience knowledge on topics such as brain structures, learning, memory, sleep, vision, and movement.

The 2026 Newark New Jersey Regional Brain Bee will be held on Sunday, March 22, starting at 1:00 PM in Room B-552, Medical Sciences Building, New Jersey Medical School. Please complete the Registration form. Registration closes on March 8, 2026. Registration is free and open to all New Jersey high school students interested in participating.
