Dr. Wages will present the specific aims for a Katz R01 grant, which he is an MPI with Dr. Jean-Francois Daneault. Dr. Wages’ research focuses on delineating the dysfunction of the neuromuscular & sensorimotor systems with profound muscle weakness, due to aging (e.g., sarcopenia), injury (e.g., ACL), illness (e.g., COVID-19), & neurodegeneration (e.g., Alzheimer’s Disease), as well as its potential restoration. This is not a formal talk, and discussion and critique are very much welcome!
