Chung-Yang (Yang) Yeh, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral fellow in the Lamming Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Yeh’s research focuses on understanding the intersection of metabolism, nutrient signaling, and aging. His ongoing work investigates the mechanisms and effects of lifespan-extending dietary interventions, such as the restriction of dietary isoleucine, in the context of aging and aging-related diseases. These studies highlight the important role of nutrient sensing in shaping distinct molecular and phenotypic signatures. Dr. Yeh’s future works will seek to understand the role of molecular nutrient sensors in the neuropathology of Alzheimer’s disease, other neurodegenerative conditions, and healthy brain aging in general.
