The conference is hosted in Banff, Canada Sept 25-27, 2024. The main theme is novel pharmacotherapies for SUDs and related mental health disorders.Talks will include basic and clinical research exploring novel pharmacology-based interventions, including cannabinoids, psychedelics, ketamine, and more. So far, we have a fantastic lineup of speakers (Meg Haney, Lorenzo Leggio, Alex Kwan, Sachin Patel, Melissa Herman, Ziva Cooper, David Nutt, Kelly Dunn, Francis Lee, and others). If anyone from your team may be interested, we have trainee travel awards due July 5th and early bird registration is through July 12th. We’re also happy to receive posters beyond the primary theme – anything related to substance use, pharmacology, or mental health (broadly defined) is totally welcome! We plan to select abstracts from the posters to present as ‘hot topic’ talks, and we also have funding to provide free childcare for attendees who wish to bring their families.
