Members of the neuroscience and cancer communities here at CSHL are putting together an event that we are all very excited about. We are now accepting applications for the CSHL Innovators Award, which will recognize some of the most talented young scientists of their generation. All late-stage graduate students who are doing creative and exciting work in neuroscience and/or cancer, and are ready to talk about it, are encouraged to apply. We anticipate inviting up to 10 neuroscientists and up to 15 cancer biologists. Awardees will be invited to travel to CSHL on February 24th – 26th , 2025 and join us to share their science, network with their peers, and interact with faculty and current postdocs. CSHL will cover all travel, food, and accomodation expenses.

Students are eligible if they are less than about 1 year from graduation. We will also consider recent graduates who are still in their PhD lab, wrapping things up. We are committed to selecting a diverse group of students, so women and underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
